Catit Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Pan
If you’re fed up of your home smelling like a garbage disposal, Catit’s Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Pan is the product to invest in. Available in either warm grey or white and black, this pan is the ideal choice for larger felines and multi-cat households, measuring a respectable length of 22, width of 17 and height of 18 inches.
Delighted customers are split on what their favorite feature of Catit’s litter pan. Many profess that nothing can beat the transparent door flap; the perfect size for larger cats to enter as they please and allows you to check on whether the litter pan needs emptied without subjecting yourself to your cats’ smelly odors. Others are enamored by how deep the litter tray is to the point that it only needs cleaned and topped up every two to three weeks.
If you’re keen to splash out on this litter tray, why not get Catit’s Litter Pan featuring an integrated carbon filter? Although it will cost a little extra, the optimal ventilation you’ll enjoy with a carbon filter inserted are unparalleled. Unhappy buyers do complain that the carbon filter’s exposure means that their cats are reaching it and accordingly ripping it to shreds. Due to this design flaw, we cannot recommend this feature for prospective customers with boisterous kittens or cats who cannot seem to fathom that they’re all grown up!

How Does This Product Work?
Catit’s litter pan works to contain nasty odors and hide away the cat litter produced by multiple cats. Unfortunately, a little work is required to get this litter pan up and running. The litter tray arrives with the hood packaged next to it, so it’s simply a case of fitting the two together. Owners must check that the clips connecting the hood and litter tray are locked into position before attempting lifting the handle. And if you’re lifting the litter tray handle in order to take its contents to the trash, not checking that the sliding clips are in place could be even more of a disaster!
There are four clips (two on each side) and, although you may not spot it right away, these clips contain embossed padlocks where these clips are attached on each side of the hood. These clips must be unlocked when connecting the hood. Once securely attached, only then should you push all four clips back into their locked position. Now with this litter pan up and running properly, it will work like a charm!
